How we verify
Each feature on a gym page is Yes, No or Unverified. It only gets a Yes or No when the gym's own website, or a page we cite, says so.
YesNoUnverified
- Each Yes or No shows the quote, link and date.
- No statement from the gym means Unverified.
- We don't guess chalk or drop rules from photos, reviews or equipment.
- Amenities like sauna, hot tub, showers and parking follow the same rule.
What the six fields mean
- Chalk allowed
The gym says chalk is allowed, supplied or encouraged.
- Deadlift drops OK
The gym says dropping weights or deadlifts is allowed.
- Lifting platforms
Dedicated deadlift or lifting platforms.
- Monolift
A monolift (or monolift attachment) is listed.
- 24/7 access
24/7 member access, as stated by the gym.
- Calibrated plates
Calibrated or IPF-spec plates are listed.
